FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Bridal

Do you travel?

Yes, we love to travel! KKB will go anywhere your heart desires. We have special packages curated for our travel weddings, so reach out for the full breakdown!

How far in advance should I book my bridal hair and makeup?

We recommend booking as soon as you have your wedding date confirmed, especially for popular dates. Bridal bookings are often made 6-12 months in advance.

Can I book a trial before reserving my wedding day?

Trials are reserved for brides who have secured their wedding date with a contract and deposit. We do not guarantee artists availability without a paid deposit.

Is my bridal trial included in the price of day of services?

Bridal trials are not included in the wedding package. They are booked separately, and paid for at the time of service.

Can I make changes to my booking after I reserve my date?

We do allow additions to bridal party services after booking as long as we have the availability to do so. We do not allow removal of services after booking due to high demand.

Is it okay if I don’t know how many services yet?

You will need to have a general idea of how many services you need in order to secure the right amount of artists for your day. If you do not have a set number, we recommend booking based on the amount of services you have confirmed and then adding services later.

Should I have extensions for my bridal hair and where should I get them?

We do recommend extensions for most Bridal styles. Extensions allow for extra longevity in styling and typically improve the end result. Bellami hair extensions are a personal KKB favorite and we provide a code for a discount using code: KENDRAK.

How long will the hair and makeup application take on the wedding day?

Our bridal party services average 45 minutes to an hour per person. Bride services will require a minimum of two hours. Our artists can average 7-8 services. Please consider timeline restrictions  when booking.

What happens if one of your artists is unable to attend my wedding?

Let’s face it, emergencies do happen. While we pride ourselves on being a reliable and trustworthy team, we know that a backup plan is never a bad idea. When working with KKB you have a piece of mind that in the event of an artist emergency, we have an entire team of talented artists that will be able to provide services.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is outlined in our contract. Please review it carefully before booking.

How many artists will be provided for my bridal party?

The amount of artists provided will depend on the amount of people needing services, and the time frame needed to complete those services. Our artists typically average 7-8 services depending on timeline restrictions.

How do I prepare for my Hair + Makeup appointment?

Please arrive for your scheduled hair and makeup appointment with clean, blow dried hair. Skin should be free of any makeup and skincare products as we will be doing a gentle exfoliation as a part of your skin prep routine.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?

We do not personally offer airbrush makeup. We believe that the same airbrushed finish can be achieved through traditional application.

Tanning

How many days before my event should I get sprayed?

We recommend getting sprayed 1-2 days before your event or vacation.

How long does a spray tan last?

With proper after care, a spray tan will last 7-10 days. Guests should remember, using the correct products and caring for your tan is the only way to ensure longevity and even fade when spray tanning.

How is the Rapid Glow different?
